Courtois named LaLiga Player of the Month for January

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been named as LaLiga Santander's Player of the Month for January.
The Belgian is the first Real Madrid player to win this award this season. He conceded only one goal in the entire month.
Courtois is also the first goalkeeper to win this award since the 2013/14 season, when Keylor Navas did whilst at Levante.
In fact, the last Real Madrid winner to receive this accolade was Cristiano Ronaldo in May 2017.
On Sunday, Courtois will receive the award prior to Los Merengues' match at home to Celta Vigo.
